Investments and modernization

In purpose of efficient and rational using of production powers of the enterprises to pharmaceutical branch, increasing the production able to meet competitive oriented on export pharmaceutical product, as well as more full satisfaction the requirements of the Republic population with domestic medicinal facility and product of the medical purpose, there was accepted the Resolution N PP-731 by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from November 19, 2007 “On the Program of modernization, technical and technological rearmament of the enterprises to pharmaceutical branch for a period of before 2011″.

According to Application 3 of the Program of modernization there are expected 45 investment projects on 39 enterprises to pharmaceutical branch on amount 26,5 mln. US dollars.

For 2008 was a scheduled realization of 23 investment projects on 22 enterprises on amount within 7,0 mln. US dollars, including:

Mastering investment on modernization the enterprise for 2007- the 1-st quarter of 2008 - 4,8 mln. US dollars - 161,6 % from forecasting parameters, including:

To the 1-st of May, 2008 the structure of the Concern SJSC “Uzpharmsanoat” enterprises has increased with 21 up to 26 enterprises. At present domestic producers of medicinal preparations from the structure of SJSC “Uzpharmsanoat” produce more than 200 types of the import substituting medicinal preparations and medical products.

The Volume of production on concluding the 1 quarter of 2008 has formed 22,7 mlrd. soums. Execution on 116,4% from forecasting parameters, including:

The Amount of new type of medicinal preparations has formed 10 names, but medicinal substances have formed 9 names.

Due to Resolution N PP-731 by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from November 19, 2007 the 3 domestic enterprises to pharmaceutical branch have introduced the system of quality management ISO-9001.

The Volume of export on concluding the 1 quarter of 2008 has formed 4,7 mln. US dollars. Execution on 118,8% from forecasting parameters, including:
