At present the production programs of Concern are formed firstly on base of the decision of social tasks - the satisfaction of the population demand in medicinal facility to the main pharmaceutical groups and accessibility to medication for mass using.
In these purpose by the Ministry of Public Health there is defined the policy of the medicinal ensuring the republic population through amounts of the government order for necessities of urgent medical help, need of medical-preventive institutions, realization of the target programs of medical help for certain category of patients and social groups of the population.
The Second factor, influencing upon further development of production, is a direct market demand for pharmaceutical products, corrected by the experts of Ministry of Public Health within the general internal need and priority importance for necessities of the public health.
The Third factor is an attractive investment climate in the manner of granting the privileges and preferences for foreign partners.
The main principle of further development of pharmaceutical industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan is an interaction with the world pharmaceutical industry by way of:
- organizing the joint-venture or joint economic activity on production of main medicines - generics, as well as for treatment of socially significant diseases (the tuberculosis, oncology, sugar diabetes, psychic frustration);
- investing in extension of the nomenclature and volume of production of the main types of medicines;
- making a foreign enterprise on production of significant medicinal preparations for treatment of the anemia, system bronco-pulmonary diseases, gastrointestinal, cardio vascular and other diseases.
For foreign companies, specialized in production of pharmaceutical product and planning the extension of production, it is necessary to study the nomenclature of produced product by foreign company, for the reason to realize:
- the possibilities of joint production of medicines on existing production power;
- the study needs for produced product by foreign company;
- the need of organizing new production powers on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and production scales.
In the years ahead the JSSC “Uzpharmsanoat” plans to aim efforts in the development of following directions to pharmaceutical activity:
- the production of the broad profile generics of all forms including tablets, capsules, injection preparations, infusion preparations, ointments and others;
- the production of psychotropic preparations;
- the production immune-biological preparations including the organization of insulin production;
- the production of anti - oncological preparations;
- the production of medicines from vegetable raw material;
- the production of small-amount substances of medicines on base of local raw material.
Some pharmaco - therapeutic groups of medicines are far from complete satisfaction with need of the population.
There are not covered by production such groups of medicines, as oncological, myorelaxation drugs, neuroleptic and psychotropic, antituberculous, anti-diabetic and others). It is necessary to master such forms of the production output, as suppositories, aerosols, liposoms, transdermal forms, dragee, films, increase the spectrum of medicinal preparations in capsule and coated tablets.
By the Resolution NoPP-731 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from November 19, 2007 there was accepted the Program to modernization, technical and technological rearmament of enterprises to pharmaceutical branch for the period before 2011. In accordance with Program it is expected to enlarge the volume of production in 3 times, volume of export in 2,2 times.
For performing the tasks installed by Program the JSSC “Uzpharmsanoat” is interested in attraction new partner on making joint ventures, modernization and technological rearmament of existing enterprises to the pharmaceutical branch.
It is expected to develop the double-sided relations with the developed pharmaceutical industry countries. The Concern offers mutual beneficial cooperation on realization the joint project on organization, modernization and technical rearmament of enterprises to pharmaceutical branch of Uzbekistan.
For its part the Concern is ready to participate in realization the investment projects, render the assistance in selection and acquisition of production areas, in solving problems, concerning registration and leading activity on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and outside.
